Lamias Lust
Lamias Lust is the band done by the owner of FauxStars Entertainment.
This independant band has been around since 1994 playing different types of music and all recorded in an ever growing home studio.
But, to get the music out to the widest possible audience, the internet was definatley the place for promotion.

Website
The website layout (background, graphics, ect.) was done entirely in photoshop.
Lamias Lust is a dark themed band, so the website had to reflect this.
In order to get the music out there, it had to be setup to stream the music to the widest audience.
So embedded into this site is all three major player platforms, real player, windows media player, and quicktime.
Even the traffic counter was customized with gothic like numberics to match this sites overall theme.
MySpace
MySpace is not only a great way for celebrities to network with each other, but is also one of the biggest networking sites for musicians.
The layout of the bands MySpace is setup to match the overall appearance of the website with custom graphics and layout.
With all that done and music uploaded, this is a major music promotion page where fans can join to keep in touch directly with the band itself.
YouTube
Youtube is another great way to advertise a band, so a musician channel was setup for Lamias Lust.
The layout was fully customized again to match the overall site theme.
Stickam
Even webcasting networks are a great way to promote a band, so Lamias Lust has it's own official Stickam channel.
Customized look was done again to reflect the bands overall theme.
On here this band can give free shows to its fans with audio and video streaming to an unlimited potential fanbase.
SayNow
Sometimes fans like to leave messages to the band and stay up to date through their own cell phones, so Lamias Lust has got it's own SayNow box.
This has been fully integrated into the MySpace page as well.
Twitter
When a band has news they want to relay to the fans, it has to be the most efficient method possible.
With this is mind, Lamias Lust has it's own Twitter page where fans can join to keep in touch, and the band can relay messages to the Twitter page, plus anywhere else the box has been integrated into.
MySpace has this box integrated into the page.
