Mandi Faux is the performer name of FauxStars Entertainment's owner.
A little background on Mandi Faux; Mandi is an internet celebrity, and being this requires not only an official website but also a large network of pages on several social networking platforms.
Pre-internet day celebrities where required to get their name out there by doing as many gigs as possible, anywhere, be it stage, radio, television, theater, ect.
However in the modern age things have changed significantly, and the internet celebrities are the faces and forces of the future.
For Mandi, this meant not only getting a fast yet well designed website for her friends and fans to have the most reliable, enjoyable experience, but also be on every major networking site with a similar matching design and of course the same names on every one.
Website
Mandi has been on the internet since 2001, and has had alot of experience with not only surfing but also being an entertainer.
Seeing alot of trends come and go is one of the things gained from being on the internet for the past beyond 8 years.
That along with knowing first hand by direct communications what customers, clients and fans want and dislike is another valuable experience from this background.
The best celebrity style website is one that matches the persons own personality, yet is fast loading to deliver the content to the widest audience available, and is the most reliable so fans never have to be without a place to go.
Using a php formatted site without any databases gives the most secure way to deliver the content while using the least server resources.
The graphics are all either jpg or gif format and most all done and optimized using photoshop.
This is the most efficient method of doing graphics, giving every possible person a pleasent speedy surfing experience.
A couple of things have also been incorperated into this website.
There is a free video embedded into the site using a Youtube account (see Youtube section).
A radio player with online / offline status indicator is also on the site where Mandi does the occassional radio show broadcasting through Winamp's own Shoutcast network.

To keep fans amused by offering something different, Mandi decided to put a few flash games on the site.
Mandi does keep in contact with fans directly, and does this by having a contact form setup on the site for potential and current clients, companies, fans, ect.
MySpace
The most boring thing about a MySpace is surfing so many profiles that look exactly the same.
Most annoying is going on profiles with way too much flash and large file graphics.
All this does is make people not want to be on your page because it took too long to load or it looked exactly like the other hundred they surfed on the same day.
Mandi knows this all too well so her official MySpace needed a customized one of a kind layout that loaded as fast as possible.
Added to the profile is header graphic, custom contact graphic, fully customized network area graphic, table backgrounds plus overall main page background.
There have been a few new areas added in the general / favories area to include a SayNow box, Twitter, and links to her sites. (these areas are not standard issue)
Adding the Saynow and twitter boxes allows for even better inter-fan communication, and the Saynow has a phone number exclusively to Mandi Faux's own box for fans to leave and or recieve messages.
The about me section has been divided up with customized heading graphics for better organization of information along with Youtube integration as well.
YouTube
The Youtube channel is Mandi's official place of videos, favorite videos of others and yet another way to gain more fans.
The channel has a customized layout to closely match the website and other pages accross the social networking platforms.
Stickam
Mandi needed a place to allow unlimited viewers to see her free web shows, so the most popular video networking site was the place to go.
With its already large viewing audience base, Stickam fitted this need perfectly.
The channel has had a customized layout done up to match the other pages.
Along with this, the player was also embedded into the website so fans never have to leave the website to catch the shows.
They are however encouraged to join Mandi's channel to gain access to the real time chat room that is on while the shows are live.
SayNow
SayNow is the place choosen as yet another way to get a bigger fan base.
The useage of this site allows for fans to leave and get messages directly to and from Mandi.
Being a celebrity, Mandi had the opportunity to get her very own phone number for this that is exclusive to her.
It also has an embedded box that is placed on the MySpace page.
Twitter
Mandi has a customized Twitter page to allow fans to keep updated on what she is upto, and she can update the status on computer, cell phone, ect.
